About Stefanie Johnson
Singing and writing songs since a young girl, Stefanie Johnson is native to the Lehigh Valley region of Pennsylvania, but her musical career has taken her beyond her roots.
Her professional musical experience has taken her to Nashville's legendary Bluebird Café and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland, OH to Bethlehem, PA's Musikfest festival and famed Levitt Pavilion at ArtsQuest’s SteelStacks. In August of 2024, The Stefanie Johnson Band opened for rising country artist Drake White at ArtsQuest’s Musikfest Cafe.
Stefanie has appeared on local television stations such as WLVT's Steel Sessions, WFMZ’s Music Monday, and Service Electric’s Holiday Concert Series as well as The Mike Zambelli Show.
To describe her voice, Stefanie has a bold melodic presence, both strong and smooth. Her style ranges from pop artist to rock singer with a country timbre as well. Similarly, her music and songwriting style traverse those same motifs. Her recent releases have been slightly more blues and country driven with more of a roots rock feel.
Stefanie has also made her mark in the music licensing business. Her song “In my Shoes” has been featured in the 2018 film Affairs of State. In addition, her song “One Life” was featured in the film Red Rocket (Dec. 2021) and “Everything You Need” will be featured in Daniel Roebuck’s Hail Mary (in post-production).
Stefanie has been performing with her all-star band for many years featuring her co-writer, multi-instrumentalist/studio owner Brian Anthony, super talented guitarist Michael Anthus, and dynamic veteran drummer Tom Chaffier. Whether performing with her full band or as a stripped-down acoustic act, Stefanie Johnson’s musical style will deliver a mix of genres that is sure to provide something for everyone.
